Band Bio: Never A Hero are a Rock / Alternative band from Sudbury, Suffolk, England whose musical influences cover everything from Classical to Metal and Dubstep to Rock. The band formed in 2009 when members from 2 local bands merged together to write something entirely different from their and the current rock markets usual style. The band has seen some minor line-up changes throughout their early years with the introduction of lead singer Phrixus and lead guitarist Kaji replacing lead guitarist / vocalist Toby C. In 2010, the band recorded their debut EP Socially Awkward at Outhouse Studios in Reading, England -- The EP saw limited self release and distribution but was critically acclaimed by both fans and music critics alike. The band took place in the Reb Bull Bedroom Jam in 2011 and were the first band selected to play a live show, as voted by the fans. The band played various shows throughout 2011 culminating in a support slot with the legendary band Wolfsbane in December. In mid December 2011, Never a Hero signed with US label Cinderella / Out of Records which will see their EP re-released globally in 2012. Never a Hero completed their first full UK headline tour in January of 2012. They have played various festival dates and have played venues including various O2 Academies, the Camden Crawl and the legendary "Garage" in London. Their new album "Bleed between the lies" is due for release on November 26th 2012. The first single from this album "Burning Skies" was released on July the 2nd and the video for the song, starred UK soap legend Bruce Jones (AKA Les Battersby) and once again picked up airplay on the likes of Kerrang TV etc and various other national and international TV stations.
